Why We Need A Community

What is so important about being involved in a Christian community? Do I really need to have friends who share my beliefs and goals in life?

It is important to be involved with friends who strengthen your values and honor commitments you have made to Christ. It is hard enough to be a Christian in a culture that has put an immense value on things that are against biblical truth and what God desires for his children. Hebrews 10:24-25 says “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” By being in community together we are able to encourage, lift up, and invest in the lives of others.
